Forest is my best friend, my soul mate and my first ever dog who will always have a special place in my heart. I’m heartbroken that this weekend he became seriously ill.

From going from a happy dog excited for his walk at 2pm Saturday afternoon, to then having to be carried to the car and taken to the emergency vets by 10pm. He was struggling to breathe, refusing to eat and very wobbly.

We were sent home by the emergency vet with some paracetamol and told to see his own vet on Monday.

He continued to refuse food over the weekend and made no improvement and has now been admitted to hospital with pneumonia.

My insurance policy has been maxed already with a quote so far of £5000 for his care which will be increasing every day.

I never thought i would ever be in this position to have to reach out and ask for help but we are really struggling to find ways to pay for his treatment.

Please help in any way you can, even just to share this post would be greatly appreciated.

He’s not out of the woods yet but I’m praying that I can get my best friend home where he belongs as soon as possible.
