Hello!
The annual Dedham Clippers Swimathon was postponed (due to New England weather!) and is now being held Saturday, February 2, 2019. Our 10 and under swimmers will swim from 4pm - 5:30 pm. The 11 and older swimmers will swim from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
Every year, our Clipper Swim Team holds a swimathon to help defray the cost of the annual awards banquet. We are also in need of replacing our starting system. At this point, it works one day and not the next. We really would like to purchase a new one.
All money raised will go back directly to the Clipper swim team with these goals in mind. We were be so honored for your help in reaching these goals.
You can contribute in a few ways:
1) A contribution here via the Go Fund me link. We ask that you make a note in the comments on which swimmer you are supporting.
2) A check made payable to "Dedham Clippers". Please note the swimmers name in the memo section of the check.
3) We ask that you share and share and share our link so that we can raise as much money as possible to accomplish our goals.
You may support the swimmers with a per lap donation or a flat rate. Any and all contributions are GREATLY APPRECIATED!! We will keep the campaign open for two weeks after the swimathon in order to collect any additional funds. We will close the campaign on Superbowl Sunday - February 24, 2019.
