Hi everyone — my name is Joshua, and my wife Kassaundra and I are lifelong cat lovers. One evening in a parking lot, we met a little stray who completely changed our lives.

When I called out softly, I never expected her to come — but she walked straight up to me, purring, as if she had been waiting for us all along. We didn’t adopt Midnight — she adopted us. From that moment, she became our family. She is the light of our universe.

Now about two years old, Midnight is our baby. She cuddles with my wife every day at nap time, follows us around the house, and fills our home with warmth and love. She’s the gentlest, most affectionate soul we’ve ever known.

A few days ago, Midnight suddenly became lethargic and weak, so we rushed her to the emergency vet. After a series of tests, the doctors found that she was suffering from severe anemia and a mild to severe case of pneumonia. She has been in and out of the hospital for three days, receiving IV fluids, oxygen support, and a blood transfusion.

We are doing everything we can to help her recover — but the cost of her care has already exceeded our financial limit. Midnight is only two years old; she still has her whole life ahead of her. We just want to bring her home, healthy, purring, and back in our arms where she belongs.
