Dear family and friends,
Papa was a simple, compassionate and generous man. In lieu of flowers and in Papa's memory, we would like to donate to causes that were close to Papa's heart, including those that further education and provide basic necessities to those in poverty in Kerala. ICON charities is one such organization which provides funding for these types of projects. Thank you for choosing to honor the life of Papa by giving life to the hopes and dreams of those less fortunate.
Besides his family and friends, the other great love of Papa's life was the game of soccer (known as football in India). He played as a forward for Tiruvalla Mar Thoma College from 1961-1965. The Mar Thoma College was and continues to be well-known for its soccer teams and Papa played as a state-level athlete. He was extremely proud of his team and his time there. He supported the organization financially even after he stopped playing, organized tournaments and would attend games regularly on his trips back home to Tiruvalla. He always had a desire to start programs for younger children to learn the sport. In honor of that desire, we would also like to donate to the Pathanamthitta District Football Association in Papa's name.
Through your gifts, we hope to carry on Papa’s legacy by continuing to bless and bring joy to others the way he did throughout his life. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your love and generosity.
