Help Darlis and Katie
Donation protected
I'm reaching out to you because our friend, Darlis Farmer, needs our help. Darlis' daughter, Katie, has been battling Osteosarcoma since 2011.
Meet Katie -
Katie is an amazing young lady who at the very young age of 18 has already endured far too much pain and suffering. However, she has never complained, or felt sorry for herself. She is mature beyond her years.
She has never given up. Katie is a warrior!
While in hospice care, she is working as an intern at Make-A-Wish. If that is not amazing, I don't know what is! <3
Katie got the following tattoo on her 18th birthday.
I think it's perfect, don't you?

Katie,
Cancer may have impaired your physical abilities, but it cannot touch your mind, it cannot touch your heart, and it cannot touch your soul. You are an inspiration!
Darlis is at home with Katie on unpaid leave. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
All donations will be given to Darlis to use as she sees fit.
Please keep Katie, Darlis, Katie's two brothers, Dad and extended family in your prayers.
I'll close with this quote from Stuart Scott's ESPYS speech. "When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live."

Thank you and God Bless!
