Emergency Moving Costs

Hi y'all, I've created this GoFundMe to help retrieve all of my belongings taken from me by a fraudulent moving company back in February.

After paying the moving company (ES Vanlines) almost $4,000, on Feb 24th 2022 they picked up my items from Austin, TX and loaded them onto a truck to be moved up here to Gig Harbor WA within 7-21 business days. It has now been nearly 5 months since p/u.

Turns out my things never made it past Houston, and they are now sitting in their storage warehouse in Spring, TX.

ES Vanlines is refusing to complete the move, citing lack of trucks/workers. They've been dragging me along for months, lying, hiding, deceiving; promising delivery and then ghosting me for weeks at a time.

The lengths that I have gone through to retrieve my things is absurd. 

I have filed police reports with local, county, state police, the TX DPS, TX Rangers, and even the FBI. None will do a thing.

I recently was told that ES Vanlines will release my items from their storage warehouse and will allow another moving company pick it up.

I just found another company who said they can do it for $3,000 on the 18th of August (four days from this posting).

 I flew up here to Gig Harbor in March with two suitcases and a cat. The moving company has taken everything from me. My photos, journals, books, bicycles, passport/birth cert, clothes, computers, medications, EVERYTHING imaginable that cannot be replaced. This feels like my house burned down but I paid for it to happen.

 

I hate to ask for your help, but I could really use it right now.
