Kurtz Barn Raising
Donation protected
Shortly after midnight on January 7th, my parents, Bill and Andrea Kurtz, woke up to our family's historic barn completely engulfed in flames. Several beloved animals were lost in the fire, along with an immense amount of tools, farm equipment, and gardening supplies, including a greenhouse, wagon, and tiller. This barn was a place of so much significance, history, and memories for our family, and while we are so grateful that the fire did not spread past the snow and that no humans were hurt, there's a lot of mourning for what was lost, and a lot of work to be done.
My parents are two of the most hardworking, humble, and kind people there are. We are hoping to give them a way to rebuild the memories and the farm that this sweet old barn gave us, so that it can give back to them. What was lost is priceless, but we're hoping that this will serve as a way to begin to rebuild.
Any donations, thoughts, and prayers are so cherished and so appreciated.
