This memorial fund is created in loving memory of Kurt Schweitzer -- our beloved husband, father, and Pop-Pop, who passed away in February 2016.

Kurt will always be remembered as a man of God and passionate about his family. He was a leader and visionary in the produce industry and was generous with his time and talent. He strived to be a good missionary of agriculture and help small villages to be self-sufficient.

This fund will be donated in Kurt’s name to BOPiC and Kiva Microfunds – two organizations near and dear to his heart.

BOPiC is a non-profit organization that provides healthy meals and nutritional education to children in the Chambersburg area.

Kiva is also a non-profit organization that leverages the internet and a worldwide network of microfinance institutions to help create opportunity around the world through lending to alleviate poverty.
