Hey everyone,

Our dad, Kurt Himmel had to pull over on the side of the road and call 911 himself Monday morning with chest pains. He was on his way to Natchez when this happened and was taken to the hospital in Natchez. Once my mom made that awful drive with so many unknowns, she was told it was bad and they didn't know how we was alive and he was being transported to Baton Rouge. He had a dissected aorta and had a major 8 hour surgery to repair it, some arteries and an aneurysm. He will be in the hospital for a while recovering and most likely will got to rehab after that. My parents have a home in Baton Rouge and a camp in Natchez which means double the expense and now no income for my dad for who know how long. Mom is also missing work and we aren't sure she will be paid. Please consider donating so we can take care of them while mom and dad can focus mainly on getting Dad better and back home.
