Hello Friends & Family of the Kuritz family.

My name is Paola Briones-Marro. I met Charles about 15 years ago in Westfield, NJ. For 15 years he shuffled me back and forth to Newark airport. During those rides we chatted about our friends, family and current politics. It was always a pleasant trip. When Charles told me he met Nicole and was going to get married I was super happy for him! He always had a nice big smile on his face when he spoke about her. I always regarded Charles as a good guy....honest and hard working. His parents would be so proud of him.

When Covid hit the world in March 2020, I immediately thought about Charles and his situation with work. As we all know, certain industries were hit harder than others and travel and transportation was one of them. We kept in touch for a while and when I heard that he was expecting a baby I was so happy for him. Baby Adriana was born on December 11, 2020. She was born with Congenital Heart Disease. She is currently at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and has been there since early July where she had surgery. Adriana was sedated for awhile after the surgery and is now awake. Unfortunately, she will need to have additional surgeries in the near future. Charles and Nicole had been staying at a hotel for a little over a month a few blocks away from CHOP. They have finally been admitted into the Ronald McDonald house for accommodations. They had been incurring expenses for hotel accommodations, meals, etc. for over a month. I would like to help Charles and Nicole as they are going through this difficult time. Their number one priority is Adriana and her recovery. I hope to raise money for them to cover their hotel & meals expenses and the many medical expenses they are incurring now and will have in the future. Currently Charles is not working as he wants to be in Philadelphia near his daughter. I know there are a lot of customers who love Charles as much as I do. I hope the Westfield Community and other friends and family can help Charles and his family during these trying times.
