A humanitarian crisis is happening right now in Iran’s Kurdistan. After over two months from the national uprising of the Iranian people following the death of a 22 years old Kurdish Iranian woman, Mahsa(Zhina) Amini, by the Iranian morality police, we are witnessing major crackdowns against the people of Kurdistan. Iran's brutal and inhuman regime has started attacking Kurdistan's cities with heavy artillery, and now they are shooting at the homes of innocent people and killing children.

Here are some of the children that have been killed in Iran during the recent protests:

Kazîwey Rojhelat was formed in February 2020 by a group of Kurdish diaspora based in Sweden with the main focus on improving the living conditions of children, women and people in need in Rojhelat (Kurdistan of Iran). This non-profit organization is fully independent and voluntary based, funded by membership fees and donations.

We initiated a campaign named Zhina right after the death of Mahsa(Zhina) Amini. As the conditions are deteriorating, we are expanding our campaign and calling for global help so we can continue helping the people of Kurdistan through the local social activists and connections we have built through the years of our activity in Rojhelat. Some of the areas we can help are:

Providing medical supplies as the number of heavily injured protesters increases
Help the impacted families whose providing members have been killed, injured, and jailed
Help the Children who have lost their parents, and provide them with food and shelters
Provide food for people who are struggling due to the lockdowns and prolonged strikes
