Help Michael beat Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Brandi Phillips, my 16 yr old nephew, Michael Ebner was just diagnosed with cancer, specifically ALCL large cell non-hodgkin's lymphoma. This is a very rare form of cancer. His prognosis is quite good, but the treatment will be very intense over the next 4 months. His treatment will alternate between in hospital therapy and also out patient therapy.
Michael is an amazing young man. He is a sophomore at North Olmsted High School where he is in all honors classes and carries a 4.3 + GPA. He plans to attend a local university to pursue a career in Engineering. Michael is a talented violinist and enjoys badminton, video games and geocaching. In addition Michael works every weekend at Scramblers and loves being big brother to 5 year old Killian.
Michael lives with his mom Heather and his little brother Killian. Heather is a hard working single mom. She is a Nursing Professional Development Specialist at the Cleveland Clinic, who works 40+ hours a week. In order to care for Michael and get him to his numerous appointments, Heather will have to take much time off of work. Missing so much work is going to put an extreme deficit to this single moms income. Times are already hard, adding this hardship to the family is going to make it near impossible to make ends meet. I hope that you can find it in your heart to help Heather keep food on the table and a roof over Michael and Killians head, while she provides her love, support and presence during young Michael's cancer treatment.
