Hey everyone! If you know anything about Haley and myself is how much we love our dogs. We got Kuma as soon as we moved into our house, before we got furniture or anything (so I slept on an air mattress and ate off a kitchen countertop for 3 months) and have loved him with all of our hearts for the past 3 years. His favorite things to do is fetch, car rides, walks and just cuddling. He is my first dog and is everything I dreamed it would be, his personality and demeanor are wonderful. Sadly this week he somehow hurt his back when he was going outside to play/potty. He came up the deck and was unable to put almost any weight on his hind legs. After just a few hours he was unable to put any weight at all and I have been having to carry him everywhere. We went to the vet today and was told that he had a ruptured disc and that was the cause of his immobility. He is currently on anti-inflammatories to hopefully show some sign of improvements, but by next week we need to decide if we want him to have surgery to fix it or possibly put him down if the anti-inflammatories don't work since he will not be able to walk. 

So we are asking that if you have anything you are able to donate it would be greatly appreciated so that hopefully we can afford to do the surgery and not leave it up to chance with the medicine (the surgery is much more than the requested amount, but just wanted possibly assistance from everyone. Any amount more will still go toward the surgery and rehab and if it exceeds the amount the rest will be paid forward or donated). The decision will have to be made soon so please share this as much as you can this weekend.
