Kulak's Woodshed 2023 Fundraiser

The Kulak’s Woodshed bookings for shows/recordings have improved to near pre-pandemic levels over the past year, and we are now averaging about 15 - 20 nights a month.

However, as you may recall, the Woodshed rent was tripled last year, and we need to book 26 nights a month to break even on Woodshed rent/bills.

The SBA loan money I got in 2022 to cover for the monthly rent/bills shortfalls has run out.

Like most artistic efforts, Kulak’s Woodshed has always struggled to make enough income to pay its monthly rent and bills. That is why nobody else is doing what the Woodshed does. Because there’s no money in a labor of love like this.

If we asked what other multi-camera video recording studios do, very few music artists would be able to afford to get a good quality multi-camera video that they can use for promotion and book themselves for other venues, festivals, colleges, and house concerts.

Still, somehow, we've found a way to get it done with skilled video and audio volunteer operators. It’s kind of a miracle we are still here going on 24 years.

Kulak’s Woodshed will stay open. I will never give up. Thank you so much.
