Dillons road to recovery

Hi, my name is Saquanna Pinnell. I am Dillon’s wife. On May 10, 2022, Dillon went to the emergency room because he was in so much pain thinking it was nothing too serious. They ended up discovering a mass in his abdomen and his lymph nodes were enlarged. Since then, Dillon has been through multiple rounds of testing, scans, and doctor appointments. We were finally referred to an oncologist in Olympia, WA and on July 5, 2022 he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Dillon has been through two surgeries so far and has recently started going through chemotherapy. Dillons chemotherapy treatments will go through the end of October 2022 and if everything goes as planned, he will have one final surgery right before the holidays.

Most weeks Dillon is receiving chemo treatments 5 days a week. Each treatment is located in Olympia, WA, so most weeks, we are commuting 2 hours a day. We are working through this as well as caring for our 10 month old little girl.

Dillon and I are both out of work at this time to focus on getting him to each appointment and getting him healthy again. He will be out of work until the end of this year.

At this time, we still have financial needs that are needing met (monthly bills, fuel, etc.).

If anyone knows Dillon personally, they know what a hard working, independent, and prideful man he is. He does not like asking for help, but at this time, we have no other choice.
