If you’ve ever met this little girl you know that you’re in the company of a precious angel. She has been faced with many challenges in the past couple of years since being diagnosed with epilepsy. And now, more than ever, her family needs to focus on her recovery and health and not worry about the financial burden that this tragic incident will cause their family. Please donate and show this special girl and her family how much this community cares for them.

PRAYER WARRIORS!!
Accidentally drowning, it’s every parents worst nightmare. It was a nightmare I experienced firsthand with my daughter Lilu yesterday due to a seizure in the pool. Three ambulance rides, one plane ride, two ER’s and now in the PICU (pediatric ICU) at Children’s hospital. Prayers needed now for her to get off her ventilator, for no infection, for her lungs to clear, for my guilt to subside, but most of all for our baby girl to be okay. We are beside ourselves with worry right now, no matter how much the doctors and nurses reassure us that she’s doing fairly well. The amazing staff at Children’s is taking care of her so well, but when you see your baby hooked up like this it’s every parents worst nightmare.
Since her original post LiLu has been weaned off of her ventilator and is starting to eat solids. She has still been having some large seizure and the staff want to continue to monitor her lungs and the intensity of her seizures.
Meanwhile back at home Sam went to her back to school night and got to see her home room and meet her teacher. She is being so brave and shows such resilience despite knowing her sissy is in the hospital. She starts first grade tomorrow and it is breaking our heart that we don’t get to be there with her to start school. She is being a trooper but really missing us and her sister.
We are so thankful for all of the support and prayers. For our family stepping in and taking care of Sam and everything back at home. For the people who have reached out, offered their home to us, visited LiLu in the hospital and for our great big prayer family all over that is lifting us up in prayer. We know that miracles happen every day and we know that the prayer covering over our family has been the best support we could ever ask for. We know that in the name of Jesus she will be healed and fully recover.
