Hi, my name is Tenase. Koda is my emotional support animal.My family.My best friend. The one who brings me laughter and joy I don't have children so he's become very special to me. Koda is a very energetic bundle of fun who is constantly at my heels and in my heart. After parking in front of the house , he managed to injure his patella and tear a ligament and can barely walk. His vet cautioned me to keep him from trying to run ,(his favorite sport)and jumping up and off the bed and sofa. X-rays have determined that he needs surgery to repair his luxating patella as soon as possible. This type of injury doesn't heal on its own. The cost of this surgery is between $6,000 and $7,000. I work as a caregiver and take Koda with me. They love his comfort. The finances I make don't cover this kind of surgery. I have looked into insurance and different options. I never go anywhere without Koda and he is lost without me. He accompanies me daily as I go to care give appointments and he brings joy into the hearts of my clients I can't bear the thought of him being in pain the rest of his life. Koda just turned 10. He has never had any sickness or medical issues.
