Support Juniper's Urgent Cancer Surgery

Hi everyone. Our names are Andy and Micah and we are the proud dads to two of the sweetest and goofiest Great Danes, Juniper and Pollock. Juniper is 7 years young and has been the brightest light to our lives and she is truly our best friend and love of our lives.

On the evening of Wednesday, April 10th we discovered a ping pong ball size mass on Juniper’s head. We were very alarmed as we hadn’t noticed it not even days before and it seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. The following day we took her to the animal hospital for a cytopsy, and unfortunately, on Friday, April 12th we got the terrible news that Juniper has a cancerous tumor known as a soft tissue sarcoma and will need to undergo an aggressive surgery to remove it as it is located in a more difficult area of her body; the occipital bone of her head. As you can imagine, the cost for this surgery is expensive, time sensitive, and needs to be done as quickly as possible while the tumor is still smaller. We’re working very hard to save as much as we can and plan to work as much overtime we can handle to get the funds for her surgery. Unfortunately, with the state of the world, inflation, and other bills, it can be hard to set aside so much money in such a small period of time. My husband and I hate asking for help and we’re aware that times are difficult for everyone right now, but decided it wouldn’t hurt to create a Go Fund Me for our baby Juniper. We’ve set a goal to raise $1,500 to help out toward her surgery, but anything and any amount would help and would be greatly appreciated.

While Juniper is 7 years old, she still has the strongest spark in her and she still has so much life to live, and we plan on doing anything and everything we can to rid her of this horrible disease so she can live a longer, happier, and healthier life with her dads and little brother.
