Charlotte's Stroke Rehabilitation
Donation protected
I am the son and care-taker of Charlotte Williams, the kindest and most genuine woman I know, a survivor. My Mother has been fighting for her life since June 14, 2015, championing a sudden onset of brain damage and sensory failure . It was that Sunday morning, the last time she walked and her words were clear, that she suffered an ischemic stroke in the left region of her brain. She was hospitilized and was said to never be the same, never talking or walking again. She's immobile, her speech is limited, the right side of her body is paralyzed, yet she has the joy of the Lord still within her heart. She has been homebound since late July and we, her family, have been giving her the best care we can. There are times I want to weep for and pity her, but I see her smile or laugh and I have hope yet again. She doesn't need pity, she needs help. She needs rehabilitation and motivating figures and energies constantly present. This is why my Dad and I have made it our earnest effort to be by her side daily. We are seeking the means to get her the therapy she needs to make a complete turn around; we know she will with your help.
Rehabilitation has been a part of our daily prayer and effort. The monies raised will be entirely devoted to funding outpatient rehab services at Heath South in Dothan, AL. We are hoping to raise the money within the next month, there is only so much time that the brain can regain its normal functioning. This would be another opportunity at life for her, a real opportunity. She has been through so much and I want to see my Mother living a fulfilled life. She has worked all of her life and it has costed her health and time. She worked so hard for my sister and I, to give us the simple comforts and even neccesities she never had. She has lived a humble, disciplined, and devout spiritual life. We have witnessed The Savior intervene on her behalf and we know her life is purposed as was the sparing of her life.
To all of you who take interest, say a prayer, make contribution, and/or send us good energies we are eternally grateful and indebted.
Thank you for your time!
