New wheelchair

I have been trying for several years to get a new wheelchair or to get my current wheelchair fixed. Unfortunately I haven't had any luck trying to do so. Medicare and Medicaid will not pay for the wheelchair that I want or need. Medicare and Medicaid will not even pay for repairs to my existing chair. With my constant aching neck and back I cannot use a regular manual wheelchair. The chair that I currently use has four wheel independent suspension which gives me a smoother ride. Unfortunately the chair that I have is considered a sports chair so Medicare and Medicaid refuses to replace or repair the chair. The wheelchair that I would like to get is by Mike Box Design. The MBD chair would be considerably lighter weight and considerably easier to maneuver. It would also be equally as durable as my current chair. My current chair has served me well for the past 13 years or so. Unfortunately it has started falling into disrepair even though I have been trying to keep it up. Anything that can be donated would be greatly appreciated. Any extra money left over would be forwarded to someone else in need.
