Go Fund Me Cambodia Mission Trip
Why The Two Of Us?
Mission and service should not be done alone. Paul spent time on mission with Barnabas, Silas and Timothy. Jesus even sent His disciples out on a mission trip in pairs. We dont see why we should be any exception! We are brothers in Christ who support and uplift each other for the glory of God! This experience will be significant to both of our spiritual journeys and we want YOU to be a part of this too and with your support we can minister to our brothers and sisters in Cambodia!
Jesus Himself was an excellent preacher but it wasn’t His preaching alone that led souls to salvation; He was humble in service and lived out the sermons He preached. Jesus met the spiritual, physical, emotional and social needs of the people He ministered to and as a followers of Jesus we aspire to adopt these characteristics whilst serving in Cambodia.
Who are we?
Mongi:
Hello my name is Mongi Nsingo and I am a young man that has devoted his life to serving God. I am currently on a path and journey to spread the gospel to the world through the strength, grace and guidance of the Lord and have been given the opportunity to do missionary work in Cambodia.
I would love to go on this journey because it is out of my comfort zone, I would have never imagined or considered something like this a few years ago. And to think that we are going to Cambodia to support in renovating a church and a community centre for other people to worship just makes it all worth it, also having the opportunity to build toilets and a fresh water well is a blessing and a truly humbling experience.
I pray that those that can, do support us on this journey and I pray for God to bless everyone reading this!
Kuda:
Hi My name is Kuda Gonese and I am currently studying theology at Newbold College. I believe that God has called me to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and by His grace serve His people.
I have a passion for service and I love to put smiles on faces whenever possible. So far I have had the privilege of serving within my local church whether that be: preaching, facilitating Bible studies, planning programmes and events, supporting different departments or just generally being a helping hand.
However, recently I have asked God ‘How far can you take me?’. It came as an answered prayer that the possibility to go on a mission trip to Cambodia arose. God has given us a message to share to every Nation - and that includes Cambodia!
I hope to learn from this experience and put my faith into practice, I am excited and can’t wait to see the grace of God in action on the other side of the globe. I hope to come back with testimonies and stories to share with YOU!
When we will we be going?
14th-28th of October 2025
What’s the Cause?
The trip will include the building of Wells and Latrine-style toilets in the heart of local villages. We will visit three main sites, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Angkor Wat. We also will renovate a Community Centre and a church, teach English classes, teach the community the importance of healthy living and sanitation as well as provide church-based ministry programmes for members.
Where is your money going?
The money which you have so kindly donated will go towards both of our flights, accommodations, travel insurances and food.
Any surplus funds will go towards subsidising any expenses for other young people who are also planning to go on this Mission trip.
What to expect from us?
As we raise funds we don’t intend to sit back and relax, we plan to host fundraising events including: worship nights, sports events and much more. We will also be helping in our local community by hopefully doing gardening and providing a DIY service in the homes of the Elderly.
We encourage you not only to donate but to join us for these events and programmes so that we can fellowship and worship together!
Thank You!
We would like to kindly express our gratitude for your love and support. We would also like to give God the praise and glory for using YOU to help us.
Thank you in advance may God richly and abundantly bless you and your family!
bless you and your family!
