Saving Princess and her Puppy
Donation protected

This is Princess. She is 4 yrs old and about 45 days pregnant. My family and I were thrilled to find out that she is expecting. We know that she will be a great mother because, even though she is VERY protective with my kids, she is very sweet, energetic , and loves unconditionally.
Unfortunately, she is not having the best time waiting for her puppy to come home. About two days ago she has not been feeling the best. She has been vomiting, has lack of energy, and has not been eating. Last night things appeared to be worse, so we went to the emergency room. You can see the pain in her eyes, which, is something that pet owners do not like seeing. Sadly we were not able to enter the hospital with her. She has become family, so not being able to go inside with her as well as not knowing what they were doing to her, made me feel heartbroken. I was just hoping that everything went well. Those 4 hours that I waited made me realize how important she is to me and how much I love her. I truly thought that I was going to lose her.
After those REALLY long 4 hours they gave me results. On the examination she appeared to be dehydrated, muscle wasted, large abdomen and some milk in her breast. They revealed that there was a puppy inside with a very low heart rate from 140-180. X-ray showed only one puppy which is quite large. Given Princess’ small size and the fact that there is a single puppy, there is a good chance that she cannot give birth to this puppy naturally, even if the puppy does not make it.
Since she may not be able to give birth naturally, Doctors recommend we do
c-section/spay which in the Bay Area tends to cost between 2,000 and 6,000 dollars. Since this pandemic I have not been working, to keep my family and myself safe. I am a Barber in the Bay Area and they have not given us the “okay” to work again.
Last night I used all my savings from my bank account to cover Princess’ emergency. And I still have to pay for more vet follow ups. Unfortunately, I have not received anything from EDD and I am still waiting. Right now we are struggling financially.
Our goal with your help is to keep Princess and the puppy as safe as possible and will do everything that it takes. I know that we are all struggling during these hard times, but, all I am asking is for a little help from each of you. And since she is expected to go into labor in 2-3 weeks we kind of need the money as soon as possible. ANYTHING that you give will mean the world to us. Please keep Princess and the puppy in your prayers and thoughts. We love these two endlessly to let any of them go.
From the bottom of our hearts... THANK YOU!
Stay safe.
