My own Catch 22

Hello. My name is Frank, and I’m asking for help today for a few reasons.
First, I had a car accident when a U-Haul trailer fishtailed out of control sent me into a guardrail and caused considerable front end damage, dents, and a broken windshield. The car was still drivable, but as a result, insurance rates skyrocketed to a point where I could not afford them. I still needed to drive, however, to get to my job requiring a fair amount travel. Eventually I was pulled over, more than once, for not using my turn signal and cited for not having insurance, and for the broken windshield. In addition to the ticket, I was charged a $500.00 Driver Responsibility Fee for the lack of insurance. The system kicks you in the head when you’re down for the count. That law will be phased out over the next few years, but I’m still on the hook for it. Meanwhile, there are hundreds of dollars tickets still to pay, and late fees because I don’t earn enough to pay them on time.
In addition to the auto related fees and repairs, I need to treat a Type 2 Diabetes condition for which one walk-in clinic charges $100.00 for a four dollar test. If that weren’t enough, I’ve been tolerating a basil cell carcinoma growth on my arm for too long and would like to get it removed.
Other than that, I’m trying to look on the bright side of life.
Thanks.
