Our mission is to teach and inspire the future leaders of San Martin Tilcajete, Oaxaca. By providing students with the proper resources and guidance, we can inspire change in this community and help them prepare students for success. As a team, we would like to help the kids by teaching English using creativity and play, and by providing supplies for learning support. Over time, we hope that this program will grow and become a bridge between two cultures.

MACA will spend 10 days during the summer 2023 in San Martin Tilcajete, teaching English and offering recreational activities such as soccer, tennis, and dance to students. Our organization will deliver all necessary resources to help establish the cultural center where MACA will offer classes and activities. To maintain our mission with the youth of Oaxaca, MACA will continue to teach English virtually to allow students to build on the language skills gained in the summer. Through our project, we hope to create a lasting cultural bridge between San Martin Tilcajete, Oaxaca, and Lake Forest, Illinois.
