Hi, my name is Lewis and im doing a fundraiser for the great bloke who was William Willie Smith. Will made conversations enjoyable, and he always seemed to have a smile on his face. He was always successful in uplifting moods wherever he went and making people smile alongside him.

Will sadly passed away just after midnight on the 8th of November. This loss has impacted his family, friends and the community where he spent his free time. Will was loved by all and has left a massive gap in many peoples lives. He will forever be remembered.

We will be walking a route that involves some of Will’s special places, and will be starting at 10am. Anybody can attend and join in on the walk. 

Start: The Riverside Pub, Hillsborough 1st Stop: The Friendship Pub, Stocksbridge (This is across the road from where the flowers have been laid for Will) 2nd stop: The Prince of Wales, Chapeltown 3rd stop: The Southey Club, Southey Green 4th stop: The New Bridge Inn, Wadsley Bridge

Destination: The Riverside Pub, Hillsborough

A minutes applause is to happen at the 63rd minute at the Steel City Derby game, so make sure you are involved.

All of this money will be put towards the funeral costs for Will to give him the send off he truly deserves, and every donation will be very much appreciated.

Please please please lets make sure Will gets the best send off ever and everyone can feel proud of the life he has lived.
