Hi - I'm Jamie, a long-time friend of Danica. We've been friends through many good times and also some not-so-good times. Unfortunately, Danica is smack dab in the middle of one of those crappy times right now. Like really crappy. Her house was one of the many that flooded over the weekend, and her basement, along with pretty much everything in it, is a loss. Not only were there so many memories lost, but there were a lot of practical things lost too, like her furnace, her water heater, her washing machine (maybe dryer too), and the list goes on. This would be a lot for anyone, but on top of it all, her insurance company is telling her they aren't going to cover any of it! NONE.

Danica is a single mom working her butt off to provide the best for her two boys, and she also has a lung disorder (big word that I can't remember). Due to that, her lungs are very sensitive, which makes it all that much more important that her basement gets cleaned up properly so there is no mold left behind!

There will be many expenses with clean-up alone, but then there is the furnace, washer, etc. and I can't help but think about her boys and how they lost their hangout area. No more toys, couches, play area...
