Alistair's Eagle Scout Project

Hi,

My name is Alistair and I am a Life Scout from Troop 6 Brookline MA, and also a boarding student at Landmark High school. I am 15 years old and I love being outside. Scouting has been a part of my life since I was in 1st grade, and has taken me exciting places and given me lifelong friends. Right now I am working on my Eagle Scout Project so I can earn the highest rank in scouting.

For my Eagle Scout Project, I really wanted to involve both of my communities. Therefore my plan is to have my fellow scouts in Troop 6 Brookline build the bird boxes and then have my school community help with the install on school grounds.

One of my goals is to support native bird wildlife at Landmark by building at least 8 bird houses depending on the amount of support received. My second goal is to make at least one wheel chair accessible picnic table so people in wheel chairs can more readily enjoy the outdoors.
