The image is one of Nick's gorgeous prints, to buy one (proceeds go to the campaign) follow the link below

He has just added some lovely roses to the selection of available prints. Beautiful delicate roses with a touch of gothic drama

All are printed on beautiful paper which gives them an added ethereal quality

For the full range see his website https://www.nickrphotography.com/prints-for-katie

They would make a great present (perhaps in a recycled frame) or look great on your wall

Thanks massively, and more, for supporting my campaign
Katie

Emily's walking challenge, a virtual walk (with real foot power) from John O'Groats to Lands End.

Emily is starting the New Year with a walking challenge, miles will be added up so that she completes a virtual walk (with real foot power) from John O'Groats to Lands End. I will post her miles weekly. She starts on the first of January. Donations will go to this campaign, so I can get the fusion operation I really need. HUGE Thanks to Emily for her kind offer, plus also a great way to get fit. If anyone else would like to join her and do their own UK walk/cycle etc, let me know.
Massive thanks
Katie & Emily

I have Craniocervical Instability and need an operation, not currently funded by the NHS. Craniocervical Instability is when the neck is not properly supporting the skull, so the skull is crushing the brain stem. Spinal fusion surgery will put a stent (by fusion) on the back of my head, to lift and support my skull, allowing me to properly swallow, as well as, stop my skull from crushing my brain stem, which is very painful. To read my story please visit the Oxford Mail link below and web page.

A massive thank you for supporting my campaign, I am very grateful :)

Do you cycle, run, walk or another type of active movement? Would you like to help raise money for a good cause? If so, I would be most grateful if you joined Kt's Spinal Fusion Race for Life. The 'event' will be the whole month of September, in which any mileage you undertake (anywhere in the world) will be recorded. Thus, using this as an opportunity to be more active than usual, also an opportunity to see how many miles can you achieve in one month. You can also join together as a group on a specific day in September, and cycle (etc) somewhere interesting, and log these hours. Use the experience as an opportunity to connect with friends and be active. If friends are in different parts of the UK (or world) you could agree on a start time, then have a Skype and a beer at the end (or similar variant).

All mileage from all participants will be totalled and plotted on a map. The line signifying total miles completed so far will move across Europe, through the Baltic states and eventually up to Norway. The end point is Tromso in northern Norway by the last day of September. At this time of year in Tromso it is possible to see the Northern Lights. Hopefully we will have some men-on-the-ground to send a few pics through of Tromso.

As the milage line passes through major cities in Europe, these cities will be celebrated. I will announce we have reached, for example, Tallinn in Estonia, add some information about the city and a few photos. For those that like cooking I may suggest an Estonian dish. If you are really feeling creative you could have an Estonian night with friends, or race participants, eat Estonian food and dance to Estonian music. An opportunity to explore different cultures as we proceed through Europe and up into Scandinavia.

Please let me know if you are interested to know more about this event :)
Super gracious thanks
