I am posting this on behalf of my children, JT, Taylor and Lily. They have written this letter on their own and worked on it together.
Yesterday morning I was playing with my puppy and I threw him off the couch. He was hurt. Stace took him to the vet and found out that he fractured his leg in 4 spots. Stace told me this wasn't my fault but I still feel badly.
Our parents just bought a new house and we don't have the money to pay for his surgery. It could cost between $2,000 to $3,000 in the start and maybe more in the future. We are going to do some fundraising so we don't have to put him down and in exchange we would like to work for the donations.
Our dog Jax is a five month old Malti-Poo. He is still so small and we are just teaching him how to sit, stay and go up and down the stairs. He is the funniest dog ever. Sometimes we call him “lizard tongue” because he has a goofy long tongue. We also love that he is always playing with everyone, even our other dog Triggs. If you can assist us with any amount of change to help save our new puppy, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your kind generosity.
From the Hanik kids – JT, Taylor and Lily
Here is a list of things we will do for your donation:
wash your car, babysit, walk your dogs, mow your lawn, help you rake and pick up leaves in the fall, yard work in the spring, help cook or bake, help you clean your house.
Please include your MAILING address when making a donation.
