Today, we come to you with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits, sharing the story of our courageous nephew, Cole—a bright, kind-hearted 13-year-old from Bracebridge who has always dreamed of chasing pucks on the ice, laughing with friends, and making the most of every moment life offers.

Colе’s world changed in an instant when he was struck by a car while riding his bike and left for dead. He is now in need of urgent medical care. He was rushed to the hospital where he was then transported to Orillia for an emergency surgery. This morning he was taken to Toronto for more extensive surgery to save his foot.

This unimaginable accident has not only brought physical pain and uncertainty but also emotional distress for such a young, spirited boy who has touched all our lives deeply. Cole is facing a long road to recovery—medical treatments, therapies, and the support he needs to heal both his body and spirit.
