Help Kani after her accident!

Kani at home
Hello,
I created this campaign for my older sister Kanchan Timm, many know her as Kani. Kani, oldest of 4, was struck by a SUV during a morning jog while on vacation in Massachusetts. The driver of the SUV was estimated to be driving 50 miles per hour, but the details are still under investigation.
After Kani was hit she told one of the witnesses my phone number by heart and requested she call. When I received the phone call my heart sank into my stomach. Immediately, my father and I jumped in the car and drove to Rhode Island Hospital.
The accident occured on August 8th and ever since my family and close friends have been devastated. Instead of going out with friends and enjoying the first preseason game of her beloved New England Patriots, she was breathing by ventilator in the ICU.
She is only about 4'10 and barely 110 pounds. She is suffering from a lacerated liver, broken ribs, multiple fractures in her pelvis and multiple broken bones in her leg, ankle and foot. She has had several surgeries and still needs to undergo many more. At age 31, she will have to learn to walk again and go through extensive rehabilation. Her recovery time was estimated for up to 2 years, but she overcame the unexpected and it was decreased to 3 months.
She is still in recovery and has multiple visits at home from nurses and physical/occupational therapists. Even though she is at home she is still in so much pain. It is heartbreaking witnessing what she has had to go through. Her journey to recovery is still not over. I admire her courage and bravery through this rough time.
I am hoping all of the donations will help her with lawyer fees, medical bills, rehabilitation, lost income and living expenses. The goal is for Kani to heal without having the stresss of worrying about money. Any little bit helps! Thank you and we appreciate the assistance!
