This is Tyson the boxer. He loves his Mom, chasing squirels, going on adventures, dressing up for Halloween, and giving kisses. In his prime, Tyson was featured on the Wendy Williams Show to showcase his strut down the catwalk!! (I kid you not!!)
My friend Michele adopted Tyson in 2011 and needless to say it was love at first sight. If I ever become a dog in my next life, I can only hope that my owner is a fraction of what Michele is to Tyson.
Tyson recently underwent extensive surgery to have his spleen removed due to a tumor. Without question, Michele agreed to have the surgery performed despite having to take out a $7400 loan. The surgery was successful and Tyson was expected to have a full recovery.
However, my friend Michele received unfortunate news that no person ever wants to hear. Tyson was diagnosed with progressive cancer after receiving the results of the tumor with a life expectancy of 6-9 months left to live.
Knowing my friend, Michele’s mission for Tyson will be to make the rest of his life the best it can be. Donation & positive vibes to help alleviate the financial constraints of the vet costs would mean the world to this family during this time. Thank you everyone!
