Help Kristin Fight Cancer

Kristin’s fight against cancer began in February 2016. A large mass(tennis ball sized) of melanoma cancer cells were found sitting on top of her heart, pushing on her trachea and wrapped around her left pulmonary artery making it inoperable. Critical life changing decisions had to be made swiftly. After many months of immunotherapy treatments the cancer was successfully destroyed. She was left with side effects and fought those for years. In July of 2018 while trying to get rid of the side-effects, she was diagnosed with a new cancer called “Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (Stage 4B.)

 

My sister is married with 5 children and has a strong love for life. She has stayed positive and remained confident that she can beat cancer. She is doing all she can to heal but the treatments she has recieved thus far have not worked. This has taken a toll physically, emotionally and financially on her and her family. The last five plus years have been extremely difficult for her but as one door closes another opens.

 

Kristin has been given the opportunity to go to a cancer hospital in Mexico. The Doctors have had great success with patients in the past and feel hopeful they can heal her. The expected cost for the hospital stay and treatment is approximately $40,000. This is on top of her past and current medical expenses which have piled up throughout the years. All funds donated will be used for past, present and future medical costs, treatments, medication and medical equipment needed.
