Hey everyone! My name is Jackie. I am a mother of 3 and a Mimi of 9 precious babies. I am 46 years old. I lost my oldest daughter to cancer (neuroblastoma) when she was 4 so this isn’t my first time experiencing a cancer diagnosis so close ,but it is my first time experiencing it myself.

I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic mucinous adenocarcinoma colon cancer. It has spread to several organs and my bones. I have had a major surgery to remove what could be removed and I started chemotherapy. But it has spread a lot since then.

Currently, I am unable to work due to having to travel back and forth to Houston for chemotherapy and medical treatment, as well as not physically being able to work since the cancer has spread to my bones which makes it difficult and painful to walk.

My family and I are asking for any support. Whether that is donating to help with medical bills, food and travel, bills that still need to be paid because as we all know, life and the world don’t stop or even just praying for me and my family during this time if you’re not able to donate.

I believe and have faith that my God will see me through this chapter of my life and carry my family and me through all the twists and turns this cancer is given us.
