Alexa McCauley and Family

Alexa McCauley is a 3 year old girl who was born  with a congenital heart defect. This week, she was admitted to Children’s hospital in Pittsburgh where she was found to be in heart failure. The last few days, the medical team trialed medications to try to decrease the work load of Alexa’s little heart. The heart just continued to fail. After great discussion with the team, Alexa’s mommy and daddy knew it was time for a heart pump while Alexa was still stable for surgery. Alexa was also placed on the heart transplant list. She will more than likely remain in the hospital with the heart pump until her new heart is available. 

We all know God is so good. Please pray for this amazing family as they travel on this journey.
