I'm reaching out due to unexpected circumstances that have affected my family. My husband Billy has been diagnosed with Stage 4 liver cancer, lung cancer, and it is in his bones as well. He has been put on leave at work until he recovers. He did just get on Medicare and Aetna starts June 1st. In the meantime, I have picked up another shift a week and one on-call shift another week. We are hoping and praying for a treatment to help him fight all this cancer. He has a long road ahead of him, and anything would help our family stay afloat. He has applied for disability and social security; it just takes a while for all that to process. We truly appreciate anything anyone can do! We understand that times are tough for everyone.
