Help Dan fight cancer!

Dan was diagnosed with stage 4 sarcoma... a very rare cancer that is more often found in young children. It’s about the size of a softball, behind the stomach, liver and pancreas. It usually attaches to the muscles of the body. The cancer has spread to his liver & possibly other internal organs.
The initial treatment scheduled was chemo and radiation, which would deplete his immune system & cause a myriad of issues to his internal organs... making it nearly impossible to fight cancer if it did go into remission and return, which it most likely would. He was told there is no cure.
We’ve decided to try fighting the cancer naturally with high doses of vitamins and minerals, a water that has to be specially ordered and quite expensive, a keto diet and fasting regime to start with. (His medical team is rooting for him!) All of these costs are out of pocket. If we find these are not working, then chemo and radiation will not be ruled out.
There’s concern with future expenses, such as deductibles & costs of medicine. We have a flex spending account which is already being depleted because of Jane’s (my) medications from my recent heart attacks and the high cost of insulin... we know we won’t have enough to cover everything.  
We are truly humbled to have to ask for help. The $5000 is just a generic number estimated for possible costs. We truly are not sure how much everything will end up costing us in the end.
