Hi everyone,

I’m putting this together for my incredible friend, Kt King, on behalf of her and her family.

Thursday (3rd July), Kt was viciously attacked in her flat in Rhyl. She was stabbed more than 30 times and left with broken ribs, a broken collarbone, and a collapsed lung. She’s currently in hospital, fighting through an unimaginable recovery.

If there’s one thing about Kt, it’s that she’s a fighter. Always has been. And she’s not just fighting to recover, she’s fighting to reclaim her life and her sense of safety.

We’re raising money to help Kt move as soon as she’s able. She should never have to go back to the place where this happened and we want to help her start over somewhere safe and secure.

If you know Kt, you know how deeply she loves her two kids, Andrew and Mia, and her assistance dog, Bella. She’s strong, smart, quick-witted, and full of heart. Kt’s the kind of person who’s always there when you need her. She’s shown up for so many of us and for her community time and time again. Whether it’s a friendly face at the shops, or someone quietly supporting others behind the scenes. Kt is always there, giving her time, energy, and heart without expecting anything in return.

Now, as she faces an incredibly tough and challenging time, we’re hoping the community she’s poured so much love into can come together to support her. It’s our turn to show her that same kindness and strength she’s shown so many of us.

This attack shocked and devastated all of us who know and love her but also the community. But we know she’ll get through this because that’s who Kt is. She’s a warrior, a mum, a friend, superwoman and now a survivor.
