Hi, I’m KT Electra, British wrestler, and I honestly never thought I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help like this.

Recently, I suffered ACL ligament damage, which means I now need surgery and rehabilitation to get back in the ring as soon as possible. Wrestling is more than just a passion to me it’s what makes me feel alive. It's my escape from normal life.

Since this injury happened, it’s been incredibly difficult mentally and emotionally coming to terms with being away from something I love so much.

After only recently returning to wrestling, this setback has hit me hard. Unfortunately, I wasn’t financially covered for injuries related to wrestling, and that’s now a reality I have to face.

I’ve already had some amazing support and donations towards the private surgery and rehabilitation costs, and I’m beyond grateful for every bit of help so far. I’m now trying to raise the remaining funds so I can avoid a long NHS waiting time and begin recovery sooner, giving me the best chance of returning to the ring quicker.

The goal of this fundraiser is to help cover the remaining costs of:

• ACL surgery

• Rehabilitation and physiotherapy

• Recovery-related expenses during time away from work and wrestling

Choosing private treatment would significantly reduce waiting times and allow me to begin recovery much sooner than waiting through standard NHS treatment pathways, giving me the best possible chance of returning to the ring sooner and stronger.
