On August 12th I had a car accident that, without a little help, could leave me homeless and unable to to continue to help my family.

The driver of the car involved, crossed the centerline and ran head on into the front of my car.

I had two jobs to make ends meet. The second job required a car. Now I don’t have the very much needed income from that job.

My car was totaled, but I still owed payments. My car insurance covered paying off my totaled car with just $490 left, not near enough to put money down on another car.

I have used up the amount of time the insurance allows for car rental.

Without a car I can no longer drive my grandchildren to school.

I need a car to get to physical therapy appointments to help relieve the pain from the neck injury that resulted from this accident, pick up grandchildren to bring them to school and still get to my day job on time. Not to mention grocery shopping, church, etc.

I am not asking others to totally pay for a new car, but to help enable me to pay for the down payment, so I can get back to two jobs, so I can meet my obligations and pay my rent.

My landlord was kind enough to give me an extension, but that can’t last for long.

Not having a car puts me in a position of just getting by, to possibly loosing a place to live. This is the gravity of my situation.

I am trusting in your generosity. If you cannot give please pray for me. This is very stressful and I am feeling desperate.Thank you
