On Friday night my little brother Elijah was involved in a pretty serious accident while riding his street bike in Fargo. He was hit by a car going around 75mph and was drug under front axle by his helmet for a block before the driver stopped. Nearby drivers and friends had to lift the car off of him to pull him out. As soon as they got the car up enough for him to move, the engine caught on fire and started exploding and they dropped it. They managed to get it back up a second time, while on fire, and pull my brother out. We couldn’t say thank you enough to everyone who jumped into action to help save my brother, y’all truly saved his life.

In this, he sustained a shattered femur, lacerated liver, cracked pelvis/hip, four broken ribs and other minor injuries and scrapes. He’s had femur surgery and four blood transfusions so far. He’s still bleeding internally and they’re trying to figure out the source. While we’re so extremely grateful he is alive and relatively well, he’s got a long road to recovery ahead. He’ll have to take few months off work (femur breaks are generally an 18 week recovery), and they just bought a new car and have a baby. We wanted to help alleviate some of the financial stress Elijah and Sheridan may have so he can focus on healing. ❤️‍
