Help My Mom Beat Leukemia

My mother was diagnosed with Leukemia at the beginning of this year. She’s been in the hospital since, undergoing chemotherapy and transfusions to try to kill off the cancer in her bone marrow. The doctors told her she’s going to be in the hospital for another 4-6 months as they try to win this battle over leukemia. Because of this, my mother will be missing at least half a year from work and is having a hard time affording her bills. Her work is helping her as much as they can but she will have to pay for her health insurance on her own very soon.

6 years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to fight that battle as a single mother. I tried helping her as much as I could at the time, but because my work didn’t allow me to take time off, she had to walk and take the bus to and from the hospital alone during her treatment. She’s the strongest woman I know, but any help is most greatly appreciated.
