Grace Chavez-Moran was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer in June 2025. Since January 2026, the cancer has progressed aggressively, and she has been hospitalized for the past two months with very limited conventional treatment options remaining.

Grace is a fighter. She wants every possible chance - not only to extend her life, but to improve her quality of life so she can go home, sleep in her own bed, and spend meaningful time with her husband John and their family.

I recently met Grace and John through our sons’ basketball team. In a short time, it became clear how devoted and kind they are. Having walked my own cancer journey, I feel deeply called to support them.

No family should face this alone.

Grace and John are pursuing integrative cancer care with Dr. Michael Reid, ND, FABNO at HealthSource Integrative Medical Centre. This supportive, evidence-informed treatment is not covered and must be paid out of pocket.

Grace needs to be seen three times per week at $300 - $500 per visit, which means:

• $900 - $1,500 weekly

• Up to $6,000 per month

Our initial goal was to raise $18,000 to cover three months of treatment, giving Grace a real opportunity for more time - and, we pray, the chance to go home.

We are incredibly humbled and overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from this community. Because of your generosity, and knowing that when Grace goes home she will require additional supports, medical equipment, and help with home-related expenses, the family has decided to raise the goal to $30,000 to help ease that burden and prepare for her transition home.
