Help Stacey Fight Breast Cancer and Focus on Healing
My mom, Stacey, has recently been diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, stage 2 (possibly stage 3). The cancer has already spread to at least one lymph node, and doctors are still running MRI and PET scans to see if it has reached other areas.
Her treatment plan is aggressive and will begin in October. As of now, the plan is that she will undergo:
12 weeks of weekly chemotherapy treatments (if tolerated), along with a stronger chemo every 3 weeks.
A double mastectomy to remove the tumors and affected tissue.
Radiation treatments to ensure no cancer cells remain.
This will be a long, difficult journey — both physically and financially. My mom is self-employed, which means if she can’t work, she has no income. With the side effects of chemotherapy and the surgeries ahead, working will simply not be possible.
While she is fighting for her life, the last thing she should have to worry about is how to pay her bills or cover basic living expenses. Unfortunately, her treatments will wipe out the savings she does have, and as her kids, we are here to support her entirely through this journey. We are looking to our own friends and family to join us in supporting her journey.
My mom has always been the type of person who gives to others, who works hard, and who puts everyone else before herself. Now, she needs help from her community, friends, and anyone willing to stand by her during this battle.
We are asking for donations to help ease her financial stress so she can focus fully on healing and recovery. Any contribution — no matter how small — will make a difference. If you can’t give, please consider sharing this page so more people can hear her story.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support during this challenging time. Together, we can help my mom fight cancer without the crushing burden of financial worry.
