Gerald Aey Cancer Fight

In October 2012 our father Gerald Aey was diagnosed with multiple myeloma a relatively uncommon cancer but the second most common blood cancer. No one knows what causes it. Statistics show there is a .7 percent chance of getting it. 

Since then Gerald has gone threw chemo and different experimental drugs. With nothing working. Jerry has had several surgeries he has had 8 fractures of the spine 3 broken ribs. Several hospitals stays for pneumonia. Recently being admitted for another blood transfusion and high calcium levels causing him to be very disoriented he has been released but now has to have 24/7 care.

We were recently sent to Cleveland clinic for a second opinion where we were told that he has 2 bad chromosomes that make it extremely hard most chemo will not work. He has been accepted into a experimental program that gives him a fighting chance. He is a loving  husband,father,grandfather,great grandfather and brother he has worked two jobs most of his life to retire and now has to spend his retirement fighting for his life. He has a long road ahead we are asking for your help in his fight. We have created this page to raise funds for the extreme financial burden that has been laid at there door
