Hi everyone,

We’re the family behind Nick’s Sub Shop & Grill, a small, family-owned restaurant that opened its doors in 1987. For 37 years, we proudly served our community from the same location — through good times and hard times our loyal customers have supported us.

Last year, we had to leave our longtime home after we couldn’t come to an agreement with the new building owners. The process of moving after nearly four decades was not only emotional, but incredibly stressful. That stress took a serious toll on our family, and just recently, our dad suffered a heart attack.

He’s recovering now, but between mounting medical bills, construction delays in our new location, and unexpected costs — including having to purchase brand-new equipment we hadn’t budgeted for — we’ve hit a wall financially.

We’ve put everything we have into reopening in a new location. The space is nearly ready, our team is eager to return, and we hear every day from people excited to see us back. But the truth is, we need a little help to get across the finish line.

Covering the cost of unexpected equipment purchases

This isn’t easy for us to ask. We’ve always taken pride in doing things ourselves, but the encouragement we’ve received from so many of you is what led us to start this campaign.
