Mary's Cancer Treatment Fund

Hello my name is Mary, on January 9th 2015 Iexperienced a ruptured appendix in which I had emergency surgery to remove, on a follow up visit with the surgeon I was informed I had a rare form of cancer of the appendix. During the next week I was sent for other tests by the oncologist, of which  one was a mammogram which revealed I also have breast cancer.  I signed up for the Affordable Care Act in 2014 that was recommended by my Representatives and have since discovered that the majority of my medical expenses will not be covered.

I also am single and will have to take time off of work for surgeries and chemo treatments and will have no way of paying my household expenses during this time. In addition I will have  to take time off work from my restaurant server position because my immune system will be down and I won't be able to interact with my customers during treatment or recovery because it could compromise my recovery.
