Hello friends!
I am raising money to help fight Human Trafficking in Nepal. Every four minutes, a child is trafficked; it is an estimated $32bn industry, and it is growing fast in poorer and more vulnerable countries such as Nepal.
This June, I will be joining a team of volunteers from Google and Salesforce participating in an expedition to understand and help fight human trafficking in Nepal. Our team will cooperate with local anti-trafficking NGOs to build tech-focused solutions to this problem, in addition to providing grant money to help fund their continued operations. Ten years after I was first exposed to the problem of human trafficking in a high school classroom, I am looking forward to contributing to its solution in a practical way.
I'm raising money to help fund the expedition and provide grant money to the NGOs through Effect.org. All of the funds raised in this campaign will go to this cause. Join me in our efforts - every donation helps!
