Cats in need

Hello

My Name is Todd.

I currently reside in Barrie Ontario Canada.

There I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment.Along with my 3 adorable feline family members(0 human family), we have called this place home for almost 8 years.

My 3 cats are everything important to me.

Their comfort,heath and happiness are #1 priority on my list DAILY.

Smokey is my oldest boy at 12 years .

Then there is my girl Lucy ,she is 5 and my little buddy ,LB he is also 5 years old.

Everything I do is to give them a good and loving home. It is the reason I go to work every day , the reason I quit consuming alcohol 9 years ago and quit smoking cigarettes 5 years ago.

To be better for them.

Last year I had major surgery to alleviate a 23 year digestive problem that could have been fatal.

Prior to that I was very sick frequently and hospitalized a few times. Unable to work for 6 months as I waited for surgery, I cared for my family first, the best could then. But it was now time to care about my health.

My unemployment benefits did not provide the funds needed for my monthly bills and I could not afford to live easily.

Since my recovery I have been heathly and more focused on successful living .

Work is still my priority. Without it I can not care for my family.

I was unemployed shortly before my surgery, but have worked almost every day since recovery.

My work is steady,but I have not found a permanent position with an employer. The work I receive comes from an employment agency ,it is on a contract basis and can lead to permanent full-time employment. My last assignment ended after 3 a month contract .

I am currently at an assignment again as a temporary employee through the agency.

My current job does not provide the necessary wage for my monthly bills.

I am seeking an extra job or better paying employment every day.

I am struggling to provide the necessary amount of rent this month,and am facing eviction from my landlord with NO place for my family and I to go .

I have reduced all my unnecessary expenses . I E i don't have a cellular device anymore. I don't go out to eat. No vacation or travel. No entertainment. I stay home ALWAYS.

I have used local charitable services for food for myself as grocery prices are atrocious and very expensive.

I have tried very hard to maintain but this past month has been most difficult.

I am VERY CONCERNED and have been worried about the outcome if we are evicted.My cats will be lost to me as I will probably have to give them away to be cared for , then our lives and hearts will be broken .

I have asked for a extra time from my landlord to retain the necessary funds for rent. Ihave until the Friday September 6 2024 .

Afterwards they can apply for immediate eviction as the city I live in has already approved.

Everything I have that is of value is already sold or up for sale.

I don't have any HUMAN family to ask for help.

I have always had difficulty asking friends.I don't have many, and it's difficult to ask for help.

I can not go to banks or loan companies for financial help as my past credit history prevents approval .

The stress level has been unbearable for me and I'm worried about everything always.

I've never done this type of thing before and hopefully will never have to again.

I have no other alternative and no resources left.

Under advisement from a friend I created this GO FUND ME account .

Not sure if it will help but I'm desperate at this point.

Please help my feline family stay together at home.
