Hey Family and Friends! We’re excited to announce that the Kalonji Soccer Academy (KSA) U15 soccer team has advanced to the US Youth Soccer National Championship July  22nd - July 28th 2019 in Kansas City!!! KSA has worked hard to become  the Southern Regions number 1 ranked U15 Soccer team, but with success comes travelling and the associated costs. The Kalonji Soccer Academy is unique in the fact that it is dedicated to giving all children access to playing soccer at the highest level regardless of financial circumstances, as the majority of the players on this team are from refugee communities. 

To-date, KSA's success has been in large part due to its overwhelming community support, and we are asking you to become part of the KSA village! The Regional Championship is a well-earned event, and our boys are laser focused!  Join us in ensuring the KSA U15 boys team has the opportunity to bring home the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP by donating to support tournament expenses and travel of players in need of financial assistance, while at the same time giving these children an opportunity of a lifetime.  We are grateful for whatever you can donate... be it a little or a lot, EVERYTHING is appreciated!!! Break down of transportation, lodging and food costs:

19 players and 1 coach will be traveling to Overland, KS (Kansas City area)  from July 21st - July 28th

Transportation:
Cost for Bus to get to team to Overland, Kansas: $6000 (we are splitting cost with KSA U18 team)

Lodging:
5 Rooms for players:  $6500 ($1300x5)
1 Room for coach: $1300
We will also be splitting the cost of lodging for Bus driver: $650

Food:
$25 per day (estimate for 3 meals) per player plus coach comes to $3500


This brings the cost of food, lodging and transportation to $18,000 


A trip like this for a Soccer team full of paying parents would be expensive but very doable... But we only have a small handful of paying parents  The reality is that most of the players on our team cant afford  soccer cleats let alone a 7 day trip to Kansas... so all donations are greatly appreciated.
